Meadowbrook
Meadowbrook is a quiet, residential neighborhood bordered by Lake Washington to the east and Lake City Way to the west. Nestled in the heart of the Thorton Creek watershed, the first homes in this area were built around the turn of the century, when it was still outside the Seattle City Limits.The growth of the city led to further development of the neighborhood and on January 1, 1954, Meadowbrook became a part of Seattle when the City annexed Lake City.
The Meadowbrook neighborhood is an active community whose members have contributed countless volunteer hours to the Meadowbrook Pond project.
