LYNDEN REAL ESTATE
Lynden: If you're looking for a glimpse of Holland, but only have a day to explore, a trip to Lynden may be in order. If you're looking for a small, safe community to raise a family, look no further. And if you're relocating your business, you'll have trouble finding a better location and environment. To all of you, Welkom!
First settled in the 1860's, Lynden became home to miners returning from the gold rush of 1858. Other homesteaders followed and together they turned the valley into fertile farmland. This attracted many Dutch immigrants at the beginning of the 20th century, and Lynden evolved into a prosperous agricultural region and one of the largest dairy centers in the nation. It is on the Nooksack River in Whatcom County, near the Canadian border. For a little taste of Holland, visit Lynden!
Lynden is part of the Bellingham, WA metro area.
