Cashmere Website
Cashmere: Originally called Mission in 1873 after a log church built by the Catholic missionary Father Grassi, the name Cashmere is derived from the Vale of Kashmir in India.
When you visit Cashmere, you are in the geographic center of Washington State, nestled in the foothills of the eastern slope of the Cascade Mountains. Blessed with over 300 days of sunshine each year, our fruit industry is strong with apples, pears, cherries, peaches and many more. We are home to Liberty Orchards, producers of the world famous Aplets and Cotlets and many other confectionery delights.
